Iestyn is a paralegal who joined the Court of Protection team in June 2025 after gathering experience assisting vulnerable people through his role as a caseworker for Senedd representatives across Wales.
Iestyn transfers his great deal of experience in the political field to develop a number of skills which are applicable to law and useful in his work in the Court of Protection.
During his time as a caseworker, Iestyn undertook the Graduate Diploma in Law, achieving a Commendation. The knowledge and skills Iestyn developed through studying and working simultaneously have made him a committed, capable member of the team and he looks forward to using his time as a paralegal to develop further to eventually become an empathetic solicitor.
Outside of work, Iestyn enjoys spending his time with friends and family as well as running and watching films. Iestyn is also a keen traveller and enjoys exploring Wales and the world where possible.
“I’m passionate about working as a team to help people who need it most and CJCH is giving me the opportunity to do that, alongside a fun and friendly team”.
