I am a Paralegal within the dedicated Mental Health Team at CJCH Solicitors, where I advocate for the rights and well-being of our clients. Following my graduation from the University of Exeter with an LLB (Hons) in 2025, I joined the firm in October 2025 to provide expert, compassionate legal support to individuals navigating the complexities of mental health law.
Working under the expert supervision of Angela Stracey, I take an active role in progressing cases and building strong, supportive relationships with the individuals we represent. I regularly visit clients in hospitals and care settings, ensuring they receive clear, robust advice regarding their rights under the Mental Health Act 1983. Furthermore, I proudly support our clients by representing them at Hospital Managers’ Hearings, ensuring they have a dedicated advocate by their side.
Having successfully passed my Law Society Mental Health Panel interview, I am now an Accredited Mental Health Representative. This accreditation enables me to represent clients before the Mental Health Tribunal, providing specialist advocacy and ensuring their rights and interests are effectively protected throughout tribunal proceedings. I am committed to delivering compassionate, practical, and expert legal support at every stage of a client’s journey.
