Samuel joined CJCH in July 2024 in the Court of Protection team initially as a paralegal, before becoming a trainee solicitor in February 2025. Samuel works under the supervision of Sarah Newport, taking an active role in the team’s cases and building excellent relationships with clients.
Samuel obtained his law degree from the University of Exeter. Samuel’s interest in the Mental Capacity Act 2005 follows his work in completing his dissertation relating to a person’s capacity to marry where they lack testamentary capacity, completed as part of his Master’s degree in Legal Practice from the University of South Wales.
